Angband 4.0.2
Coucou bon j'ai décidé de me mettre à Angband(le vrai !) et pas une de ses variantes toutes meilleurs les unes que les autres !
Bref sinon je me suis aperçu qu'une version 4.01 était sorti et je voulais avoir vos avis, si quelqu'un y joue ^^.

Bah écoute je m'y suis mis hier !
Après c'est la première fois que je test Angband donc je peux pas comparer avec les anciennes versions...
Je n'ai pas testé les tiles, je ne sais pas si certaines valent le coup.
Pour l'instant j'aime beaucoup la seul chose qui est un peu saoulant est de retourner dans les profondeurs une fois après être remonté à la ville, je passe 3 plombes à descendre vers les levels de mon niveau.
Juste un petit conseil fait gaffe avec les cliques gauche de souris sur la map qui servent de fast travel, plusieurs fois le jeu à quitté sans prévenir, sauvegarde souvent.
Pour l'instant j'ai juste fais un human warrior, classique.

Ah je ne savais même pas pour le clic gauche ^^. Sinon je joue aussi sans tiles et je ne les ai pas testé. Pour le moment je n'est pas été très loin... Mon premier perso, un humain guerrier est mort sans même descendre dans le donjon... Foutu pochtron...

J'ai eu la même chose en testant Poschengband, il faut que tu évite tout contact avec se qui traine en ville. Si t'as fais un guerrier fonce au shop pour t'armer, ou sinon met le starter pack dans les options du jeu

Je doit avoir des perso poissards ^^ Je viens de me faire dézingué par un Farmer mad dog au niveau deux ^^. Par contre y'a un truc que je n'est pas trop saisi dans le jeu. On gagne de l'xp mais le perso évolue tout seul ou on peut dépensé des points?

Non, le perso évolue tout seul. Ce qui permet de te différencier, ce sont surtout les équipements. Et la classe bien entendu.
Et sinon en ce qui concerne la 4.0.1, il n'y a pas encore de gros changements de gameplay par rapport aux anciennes versions. Le passage en 4.x est surtout l'occasion pour les dev de modifier en profondeur le code du jeu pour permettre de plus grands changements de gameplay plus tard

Saleté d'Uruk!
Je me suis fait coincer dans un labyrinthe avec une bande d'uruk dont deux uniques, ils étaits trop costaud ces salaud!
Sinon une partie plutôt sympa, dès le début je trouve un Sling of Power (x2) (+3,+15), étant warrior j'étais plus fort à distance qu'en mêlée!

Le seul truc que j'ai vu augmenter avec les niveaux est la vie max et surement la mana max pour les caster.

Les + to-hit et l'AC augmentent aussi naturellement, ainsi que les compétences comme searching

Peut-on trouver des objet maudits? j'avais peur au début d'équiper n'importe quoi mais pour l'instant j'en ai jamais vu.
Sinon ya un moyen d'augmenter sont "Burden" max? Le mage porte pas grand chose...

Bon je m'y suis remis, les (superbes) vidéos UMoria m'ont donné envie de retoucher à son descendant. Bon j'y trouve toujours les mêmes défauts, mais quand même, pour le moment c'est sympa. J'ai repris un vieux perso que j'avais du arrêter il y a un an à la louche. Un half troll warrior bien bourrin, histoire de découvrir.
Je vois que je joue sur une 3.5.0 j'aurais pas cru que c'était encore en développement. Vous savez les nouveautés apportées par les versions suivantes ? Saves compatibles si je migrais dès maintenant avec ma save en cours ?
Je suis au niveau 21, je vois Madcat que tu es mort au niveau 20 et moi aussi, dès la descente de l'escalier au niveau 20 (1000') j'ai eu un sacré comité d'accueil, alors que je roulais sur tout jusque là. J'imagine que ça doit être un gros palier, logique.
Vous savez comment récupérer le dump d'un perso vivant ? Et d'un mort d'ailleurs au passage ?

Il me semble avoir lu quelque part sur les forums d'angband que ça n'était pas possible. Mais je peux me tromper.

Tu trouvera ton bonheur ici, il y a les changelogs pour chaque version sortie.

je me souvient plus jusqu'où j'étais allé avec mon elf-mage, mais avec mon warrior à ce niveau là j'ai eu le droit à 2 uruk unique et des monstres costauds et pas moyens de retraite étant dans un cul-de-sac, et toi?

Pour un vivant depuis la fiche du perso ( maj C ou ctrl C, je sais plus) il y a une touche pour faire un dump.

Merci pour le lien pour les versions ! Du coup je vois qu'il y a une 4.0.2, il faut mettre à jour le titre du topic
Par contre je n'arrive pas à voir si les saves sont compatibles, tant pis je continuerai sur ma 3.5 jusqu'au bout
A 1000' dès la descente sur la case de l'escalier j'avais une quinzaine de forest trolls qui m'entouraient ! + aussi des groupes d'Uruk + des p et des h, je sais plus quoi, et également 2 uniques dont 1 qui a droppé un superbe artefact comme tu peux le voir dans mon log
Bon puis depuis ce matin je regarde un peu les forums et FAQ pour me mettre au goût du jour. Déjà j'ai appris (ou réappris, j'ai du l'oublier) que ça ne sert à rien d'accumuler une même résistance sur plusieurs pièces d'équipement (par contre on peut avoir une résistance sur une pièce d'équipement + une résistance temporaire conférée par une potion, un parcho, ...). Donc déjà mon amulette ne sert plus à rien.
Et puis surtout j'ai looté au 1000' un superbe artefact Forasgil (j'ai pas retrouvé ce que c'était dans le Lore de Tolkien après une rapide recherche google) qui double les dégâts par rapport à l'épée que j'avais avant (la broad sword of venom qu'on trouve dans mon inventaire, que je trouvais pourtant déjà bien sympa). D'ailleurs c'est marrant mais avant de tomber sur l'artefact du coup, contre les ennemis résistants au poison j'utilisais ma... pelle Parce qu'elle est bien bourrin aussi cette Shovel of Digging (1d2) (+2,+8 ) <+5> branded with acid.
Puis ça me permet de tester les monstres pour alimenter ma bibliothèque des monstres et avoir une description la plus complète possible, et donc notamment savoir s'ils sont résistants au poison, à l'acide avec ma pelle, au froid avec Forasgil maintenant, et aussi à la lumière grâce à ma fiole de Galadriel qui est bien cool aussi (source de lumière que je peux faire flasher, inutile de garder de l'huile maintenant que j'y pense je vais dropper)

Bon puis depuis ce matin je regarde un peu les forums et FAQ pour me mettre au goût du jour. Déjà j'ai appris (ou réappris, j'ai du l'oublier) que ça ne sert à rien d'accumuler une même résistance sur plusieurs pièces d'équipement (par contre on peut avoir une résistance sur une pièce d'équipement + une résistance temporaire conférée par une potion, un parcho, ...). Donc déjà mon amulette ne sert plus à rien.
Et puis surtout j'ai looté au 1000' un superbe artefact Forasgil (j'ai pas retrouvé ce que c'était dans le Lore de Tolkien après une rapide recherche google) qui double les dégâts par rapport à l'épée que j'avais avant (la broad sword of venom qu'on trouve dans mon inventaire, que je trouvais pourtant déjà bien sympa). D'ailleurs c'est marrant mais avant de tomber sur l'artefact du coup, contre les ennemis résistants au poison j'utilisais ma... pelle Parce qu'elle est bien bourrin aussi cette Shovel of Digging (1d2) (+2,+8 ) <+5> branded with acid.
Puis ça me permet de tester les monstres pour alimenter ma bibliothèque des monstres et avoir une description la plus complète possible, et donc notamment savoir s'ils sont résistants au poison, à l'acide avec ma pelle, au froid avec Forasgil maintenant, et aussi à la lumière grâce à ma fiole de Galadriel qui est bien cool aussi (source de lumière que je peux faire flasher, inutile de garder de l'huile maintenant que j'y pense je vais dropper)

Dans la fiche du perso tu peux faire afficher la grille des résistances (les 13 signes, les points ou les + représentent les différentes parties de ton équipement, un rapide coup d’œil à la tienne montre que tu as 3 items qui te donne de la résistance à l'acide, 2 items pour le froid, 2 pour la lumière, etc...) , et contrairement à DCSS il n'y a pas de plus ou moins grande résistance, juste du 0 ou du 1. Par contre ça n'empêche pas certain effets il me semble, comme la dégradation de ton équipement dû à de l'acide.

Je ne ramasse jamais les pelles et pioches, pour moi les dégât de base (1d2) sont trop faible. Après si tu tombe sur ça dès les premiers niveaux pourquoi pas !

Le système du knowledge qui reste pour les monstres est vraiment super, sauf que pour même un monstre j'avais vu, la description nous donne sa faiblesse, je ne sais pas pourquoi
Je me souvient comment mon mage est mort (lui aussi vers le level 20 également), à cause d'un Ember, représenté par un X marron :

- Après avoir vidé ma mana sur des nains en ligne dans un couloir, ce truc se pointe.
il ne me reste plus grand chose mais je vois qu'il a comme faiblesse le sort qui creuse les murs (oublié le nom), Bim une grosse baffe qui fait les 2/3 de ça vie mais plus assez de mana pour en relancer.du coup je cherche à le semer avec une potion de speed et en lui zappant un slow, mais le machin est tellement rapide qu'il devient juste aussi rapide que moi!
Après quelques phase Door je tombe dans un couloir qui à l'air d'être long à rejoindre de là où j'étais. Je fais donc un rest, et la, SURPRISE LE SALOPIOT CREUSE DANS LES MURS!!!! et c'est pas le pire, arrivé au corps à corps il tape bcp de fois et CONFUSE MERDE, donc -> potion clean serious wound sinon je peux pas lire de parcho ou caster, nouvelle attaque de la monstruosité, RECONFUSE! répétez ceci jusqu’à expiration des potions ->
Aujourd'hui je suis toujours sur un gnome ranger mais c'est beaucoup plus dur à jouer, deux fois plus de tour que mon warrior pour le même level.

Mise a jour vers 4.0.2 faite ! bon faut vraiment que je reste de nombreuse heure sur ce jeu... Je décroche trop vite.
